The Configurable Instance Packager tools provides the user with a simplified way of packaging a QSAR Toolbox profiler file (*.profiler.config) into a QSAR Toolbox Addin (*.tbaddin) that is ready for distribution via the QSAR Toolbox Repository.

The use of the tools is a straightforward affair. There are some addin metadata that need to be filled in, plus the actual *.profiler.config file and the contents of the accompanying Documentation and References folders. Here is the breakdown of the seven panels of the tool:

  1. Name - the name of addin. Note that this name is different form the name of the profiling scheme as displayed into the QSAR Toolbox UI.
  2. Configured instance file - the *.plugin.config file created by the QSAR Toolbox profiler editor
  3. Addin version - the version the addin
  4. Required Toolbox version - minimum QSAR Toolbox version needed for the proper executiion of the profiler.
  5. Documentation files - the folder containing the documentation files for the profiler.
  6. Reference files - the folder containing the references file (see here)
  7. Compile - the compile button initializes the container and saves it to a *.tbaddin file.
