This symbol represents interval. In case there is numerical value in front of the symbol for interval, the meaning is that this is min value, e.g. 0.5÷ mg/l. If the numerical value is behind the symbol, this is max value, eg ÷0.5 mg/l. There are also data in interval 0.5÷5 mg/l.
